This policy explains what we do with the information you give us through braintobuild.com.au, including when you ask for a Field Logic demo. We have written it in plain English rather than legal shorthand.

We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
When you fill in the demo form we collect the details you type into it:
We also record the date you sent the request and which page it came from.
If you email or ring us, we keep that correspondence so we can pick the conversation back up.
We do not ask for payment details on this website, and we never ask for passwords.
To contact you about the demo you asked for, to answer your questions, and to prepare a proposal if you want one. That is all. We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a mailing list from the demo form.
Demo requests are stored in a database run by Supabase, on servers in Sydney, Australia. Access is restricted to us. The form can only add new requests to the database, it cannot read anything already in there.
The website itself is hosted by Netlify, which operates servers in several countries.
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and move around the site, such as which pages are read and how long people stay. It sets cookies in your browser and tells us the general region you are in, not your street address. Google processes this data on our behalf and stores it overseas.
If you would rather not be measured, you can turn off cookies in your browser, use private browsing, or install Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Only the services we use to run the site and store the enquiry: Supabase for the database, Netlify for hosting, Google for analytics, and our email provider. We do not pass your details to anyone else, and we do not sell data. We would only disclose information if the law required it.
We keep demo requests for two years from your last contact with us, so we can pick up where we left off if you come back. After that we delete them. If you ask us to delete your details sooner, we will.
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete it. Email sarah@braintobuild.com.au and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge for asking.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will try to sort it out. If you are still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
Access to the database is limited to us and protected by a password and multi-factor sign-in. The website is served over an encrypted connection. No method of storage is perfect, but we take it seriously and we do not keep more than we need.
If we change how we handle information we will update this page and change the date at the top.
